One may initially assume this song is about the GOP, but it's really about the DNC and how they love to fuck us. Well, you may have assumed we don't like to party, but that's fake news. Pelosi and friends are spineless, centrist plutocrat cowards who love this system just as it is. We've gone through years of allowing the government to continue to deregulate corporations while showering them with tax breaks, perpetuated war, gave more power to the presidency, filling prisons, but it was cool last time because cool president was the leader while this all continued. People forget that this system goes on once that cool president hands the keys over to the next one entering an office even more powerful than before. Here we are today. "Now is not the time" is the same shit that's been told to us since we can remember since Ronald Reagan. This capitalist plutocracy will never save us. It's long overdue to stop believing it will and thinking these centrists who only wish to preserve this system are on our side. We'll find our own way, a better way.
